Meet Jurni
Jurni is a young girl who lost her mom too soon. When her father points to the night sky and says, “She’s up there,” something ignites inside her.
From that moment, Jurni sets off on a mission to be close to her mom again.
Her story is about grief, hope, and a love that never leaves us. It’s a story every child deserves to see – and every parent will feel.
About the Author
Nikos Cox wrote Jurni in 2020 because he believed representation and emotional honesty in children’s storytelling can change lives. Every child who has experienced loss deserves to see themselves in a story that tells them – your grief is real, your dreams matter, and the people you love never truly leave you.
